State of the Nation Address 2014

President Benigno Aquino III delivered his 5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 28, 2014 in the Session Hall of the House of Representative, Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City. SONA is yearly conducted by our presidents they tell us about what is happening in our country.

The president started his speech with a famous and common filipino saying "Ang hindi marunong tumingin sa pinanggalingan ay hindi makakarating sa paparoonan." The president's speech lasted for an hour and a half, focused on the Aquino administration's achievemants. He even presented the beneficiaries and recipients of the so called "Tuwid na Daan". Many of which are really time, but desperate question of his "Boss" (Filipino) is "How many among the 90 million Filipinos felt the love and the compassion of the Aquino government?", "How many are the choosen ones?" Many are still writing, aiming, and hoping for the warmth and sincere touch of the government.

The president maybe did his best but that best is not enough for us Filipinos he must try harder. Even though there are people who was disappointed with his 5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) he must face, accept and just try harder to prove that he deserve the position he have now. It's hard to be the most powerful man in the Philippines the number 1 problem is poverty but as long as he can manage and prove to people that he deserve that position the "Tuwid na Daan" will have a good result.
