KANNAWIDAN YLOCOS FESTIVAL

          Every year our province celebrated a very special festival that is all about culture, arts, showcase of talent like playing instrument, cultural dances and many more that includes the participation of all towns in Ilocos Sur.
         Kannawidan is a variant of the Ilocano word "tawid" meaning herit or inheritance. In this festival, the Ilocano peop

lshowcase cultural shows, native products and the talents of the Ilocanos. Kannawidan Ylocos Festival became an annual festival that aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products of the province. This festival is very significant to every resident in the province as they are celebrating the foundation of Ilocos Sur as a province by virtue of the Royal Decree signed on February 2, 1818. Ilocos Sur especially Vigan is branded as the "heart" of Ilocandia by the Philippine Historical Committee. Kannawidan is a traditions and this province got to showcase all the talents, the tradition and culture that she has. The celebration is celebrated in Vigan. Each town also display their products which they called "OTOP" One Town One Product. Many tourist also intend to come to Vigan to witness the beauty of this festival.

        This festival has gone many years and still it is celebrated and the Ilocano people are still active in joining all the activities that it has. Being a witness of this historical festival is already a great fun! So if I were you come and see the abeauty that Kannawidan Ylocos Festival holds.

Another Journey...

Time flies so fast they say that if you are enjoying the moment you won’t notice as time pass by. In few months we will be graduating we just have 1 grading to prove ourselves so that we will get a high  grade.

In the 3rd Grading Period we learn a lot but we still have some difficulties. Many of us complains t

 the difficult activities but if we don’t experience this difficulties we will never learn so instead of  complaining we should first comply like our teacher in geometry said in our 2nd year. We also had fun while making our project we take pictures for our project making that is all about unique products in  Vigan. But we didn’t finish our project maybe because we don’t have cooperation and that is a big part of a group project. But even though we didn’t finish it I’m thankful because we still have our learning.

As time goes by we make sure that no time will be wasted we will do our best and more efforts to  learn more things. This last grading I hope it will be better and my grades will also improve.

This Is Me ;)

2014 is ended as 2015 begins like the saying goes, “When one door closes another one opens.” Like everyone does they celebrate new year make their own resolutions. We have 1 book, 12 chapters and 365 pages to fill and I’ll make sure that mine will be better and nearer to perfect than the past years.

My perspective and plans for this year somewhat change and I know its for the better and will improve the skills and attitude that I got in me. Even though I’m not into this thing I will do my new year’s resolution. I will give more effort in my studies to improve my grades. And for this year I will make sure that all my goals for this year will be achieved and nevertheless be more responsible in many things. I would also like to be more patient because the truth is that I hate waiting but this year I will try to be more patient braver and conquer all the fears that I have and most important learn more things. And based on what I read, “every sixty seconds that you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back” so what I just realize is to lessen being upset to the little things that don’t matter at all. This is the new me! I don’t changed a lot but I’ll make sure that I will improve my attitude against other people that I get with each day and never lost my faith to God I have my own choices that I will never regret doing its either this choice will make me better or ruin me so I will make sure that all my choices in life will never let me down. This is me, the real me, the NEW ME.

Changing in a short period of time is hard but if we make it with all our heart and will always pray I know we can make this changes. And if we change ourselves we should make sure its for the better not for worst.
